What We Do

Here at Westside Fire, we strive to be the best emergency services organization possible.We are a combination Volunteer/ Career department.  

New Volunteer Firefighter and EMT's always welcome. No prior experience is needed, training is provided free of charge.  

Burn Permits required

May 10 thru Oct. 20

 
Dover Residents pick up your permits at the fire station in Dover, All others contact Idaho Department of Lands, Pend Oreille Fire District at 2550 HWY 2 Sandpoint, (208) 263-5104.

Mission Statement

The mission statement of the Westside Fire Protection District is to respond in a safe manner to all reported emergencies in the boundaries of the Westside Fire Protection District. To help the citizens deal with natural and man-made emergencies with the resources available and with the utmost regard for the safety of our reponders and the public. To work to the best of our abilities to limit the loss or danger to life, property, and the environment.
